Josu’e Velney, CEO & President of Velney Construction LLC, brings a unique blend of construction management expertise and public service experience. Before founding his company, Josu’e served as a Fire Lieutenant/EMT in Somerville. He completed three combat deployments with the United States Marine Corps, where he developed strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Building Construction Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology, graduating Cum Laude, and holds multiple certifications, including an unrestricted construction supervisor license, PHIUS builder certification (CPHB), a home improvement license, and an OSHA 30 certification.
Josue’s dedication to excellence has earned him accolades such as the 2022 Boston Business Journal’s 40 Under 40, the 2022 Governor’s Citation, the 2023 Wentworth Institute of Technology’s Alumni Entrepreneurship Award, and the 2024 Haitian American Young Entrepreneur of the Year. His commitment to quality and innovation makes him a trusted leader in the construction industry.
Born in Colombia, Lorena Rodriguez is a dynamic and highly skilled Executive Assistant with a wealth of experience managing complex projects, coordinating logistics, and providing exceptional
administrative support. Renowned for her ability to streamline processes and enhance
operational efficiency, she has consistently delivered outstanding results in high-pressure
environments.
Her expertise includes travel arrangements, project coordination, client
communications, and multitasking with a keen eye for detail.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, she excels in problem-solving and time management, ensuring the seamless execution of executive responsibilities. Currently serving as Velney’s
Executive Assistant, she is committed to fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional service, contributing to the organization’s overall success. Her proactive approach and dedication to excellence have earned her a reputation as a reliable and efficient
professional in the field of executive assistance That will take Velney to next level.
Jennifer Camacho was born in Puerto Rico where her passion for real estate started while working on the family farm. She moved to the United States when she was young and finished her high school education. With hard work and dedication, she was able to purchase her first home in 2011 and gained a stronger interest for real estate and interior design. Jennifer’s goals are to grow her real estate portfolio and continue to learn the many aspects of real estate sales, management and development. Jennifer specializes in accounting, property management and paralegal work.
She always demonstrates enthusiasm to learn and help out as much as she possibly can. Jennifer loves music, beaches, traveling and spending time with her family.
She’s always looking forward to her future growth as well as helping Winter Hill Homes reach their highest potential.
