Josu’e Velney is the Owner/CEO of Velney Construction LLC, a Veteran Business Enterprise, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business & Minority Business Enterprise certified construction firm based in Somerville, MA. He supervises construction for quality control, enforcing workplace safety and energy conservation. He currently oversees residential and commercial projects ranging from 1 to 30 units, with projects ranging from $1M to $5M. Josu’e also serves as the CEO/Owner of Velney Development LLC, conducting feasibility analysis, financial modeling, and acquisitions.
Before his entrepreneurial ventures, Josu’e served as a Lieutenant/EMT for the City of Somerville Fire Department and in the United States Marine Corps. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Building Construction Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology, where he graduated with Cum Laude honors. Josu’e received Wentworth Institute of Technology’s Alumni Entrepreneurship Award and Somerville Journal’s Best Contractor in 2023, was recognized in Boston Business Journal’s 40 Under 40, and received Governor’s Citation Recognition in 2022.
With his expertise in construction management, real estate development, and public service, Josu’e is dedicated to delivering high-quality projects and exceptional service to his clients and community.
Jennifer Camacho was born in Puerto Rico where her passion for real estate started while working on the family farm. She moved to the United States when she was young and finished her high school education. With hard work and dedication, she was able to purchase her first home in 2011 and gained a stronger interest for real estate and interior design. Jennifer’s goals are to grow her real estate portfolio and continue to learn the many aspects of real estate sales, management and development. Jennifer specializes in accounting, property management and paralegal work.
She always demonstrates enthusiasm to learn and help out as much as she possibly can. Jennifer loves music, beaches, traveling and spending time with her family. As our newest member to the team she’s looking forward to her future growth as well as helping Winter Hill Homes reach their highest potential.
